GHANA EXIM BANK (GEXIM) WINS ‘FINANCIAL SERVICE PROVIDER OF THE YEAR’ AWARD AT THE GHANA PHARMA AWARDS 2019

In a related development, GEXIM last Friday, June 21, 2019, won the ‘Financial Service Provider of the Year’ 2019 at the Ghana Pharma Awards 2019, which was held at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra.

The Bank was selected amongst other Banks who have consistently supported the Pharmaceutical Industry and after careful review and evaluation of our financial contributions to the sector by the Awards Committee, came to the conclusion and decision that, GEXIM be awarded the prestigious ‘Financial Service Provider of the Year’.

The Pharmaceutical sector as one of the strategic focus areas of the Bank,  and the Bank is currently supporting nine companies by providing long term financing at concessionary rates to enable these companies construct WHO Good manufacturing Practice (GMP) complaint plants and to augment their working capitals.

Some of the companies being supported by the Bank are Tobinco Pharmaceuticals, Ernest Chemist, Eskay Therapeutics, etc.

At the Event to receive the award on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer, Mr Lawrence Agyinsam, were Richard Osei Anane, Head, Corporate Affairs and Rachel Nettey, Manager Marketing.
